How to do Anulom vilom
Step 1: first you have to sit in padmasana. You can either choose a yoga mat of a normal curtain to sit on. This mat helps you to keep you seperate from the ground.
Step 2: keep your Right hand thumb on your right nostril and try to breath in. (You can also try to start with you left hand blocking your left nostril) you have to keep you thumb on the nostril as if you want to block it to not to breath from that side.
Step 3: After inhale leave your thumb free and try to hold your other nostril from the long finger. Exhale the air from the left nostril (The nostril that you are holding with your thumb).
Step 4: Repeat the step 2 again. Try to do it for 1 or 2 minutes then change your hands and again practise it with other hand.
Try to practise it for 10 to 15 minutes. Focus on the breathing . Don't go fast on the breathing. Slow and steady breathing is the key for anulom vilom pranayam.
